Dear Mr. Thomson,
I have known Mr. James for the past four years that he worked in my
company. I know him to be a hardworking and efficient worker. I have to
add that I have the utmost confidence in him. When Mr. James is on duty
I know that the safety of my workers are in good hands, for Mr. James
is one person who is genuinely concerned for the workers and with his
vast knowledge and experience in handling industrial accidents, I can
rest assured that everything is running in order.
Mr. James gets along well with his co-workers. They too have the utmost
confidence in him. I am sure they, like me, would hate to see him leave
the company. We would surely lose an excellent worker and a good
friend. However, I cannot stop him from wanting to return to his home
town to work. He has mentioned to me, on several occasions that he has
to return home to look after his aged parents. That, indeed, is very
commendable.
Yours sincerely,
