Dear Mr. Thomson,
With regards to your letter asking for a reference for Mr. James, I can
only say that I do not know him well enough to give a fair assessment
of his ability, character, etc. Actually I was surprised that he gave
my name as a reference at all. I was not informed of it.
Still I asked his immediate supervisor, Mr. Ken, and he said that Mr.
James work is satisfactory. Mr. James works best if given proper
supervision. In that capacity he should perform up to expectations.
Yours sincerely, |
