Re: Policy Concerning Public Holidays

There seem to be some misunderstanding concerning the company's policy on Public Holidays.


Public Holidays are those that are approved and gazetted by the company. There may not be in total agreement with government public holidays for the company cannot afford to have holidays for minor or unimportant occasions. Please refer to the accompanying list of Public Holidays if you have any doubt. Any holiday taken outside the list, besides medical leave, must be approved beforehand. Any leave taken without approval will be considered as a breach of discipline and action can and will be taken against the offender.


I hope this clears up any misunderstanding, particularly concerning minor religious festivals.
