This past few weeks, I had the displeasure of receiving some vulgar unsigned notes, sweet wrappers and assorted rubbish via the suggestions box. These sort of things are irresponsible on the part of the authors of the notes and the throwers of the rubbish. They have to got to stop.
The suggestion box is put there for suggestions. It is not a place to give vent to one's anger and frustration against a colleague, the management, the government or anyone else. It is not a dustbin and also not meant as an avenue to express one's political or religious opinions.
If you see any shortcoming in the company and you have a suggestion on how to overcome that shortcoming, please feel free to use the suggestion box In that way, we can look at the suggestion and if we find it useful, we will gladly incorporate it in the company. This will benefit all of us, which is the purpose of the suggestion box in the first place. I am sure we are mature enough to see that. But if irresponsible things are dumped into the box, then no useful purpose is done and it is better not to have one at all. It is up to you whether we should continue having a suggestion box.
