Dear Mr. Ben,
My clerk just informed me that your August statement contains an error.
According to our pay-in slip, we put in a check (CITIBANK No. 12345) of sum USD5678 on 01 September 2xxx. However this does not show in your statement. I enclose a copy of the pay-in slip.
Please look into the matter and make the necessary correction.
