Dear Mr. Ben,
My emotional outburst during Dr. Parker’s seminar, “The limits of debt,” was uncalled for and rude. For that I apologize, to you, to our instructor, and to the assembled participants. I have no excuse for such behaviour, particularly as an attorney whose professional demeanor calls for retaining control of oneself and remaining calm, even in the most heated clashes of defendants and prosecutors.
Upon reflection, I realize that I should have ignored the naive viewpoint of the participant who made a verbal attack on our firm’s integrity. Others in the room did so, while my blowup seemed only to confirm the charge made by the accuser that we were culpable.
Please give my apologies to Dr. Parker.
