Testimonial Letter From A Colleague

Below is the example of testimonial letter from a colleague :

To whom it may concern

I have known Mr. Joseph Rosado for ten years as a colleague and a friend. I am pleased to say that I am very lucky to have met such a brilliant man.

As a colleague he is one of the most efficient and capable I have ever had. Many times he was the one who bailed me out of difficult situations encountered in the course of my work. There is no one better to ask for help when the going gets tough, and he is one who goes out of his way to help someone.
As a friend, he is one who always willing to listen and lend a hand if necessary. He is optimistic, sincere, honest and above all genuine in his dealings with people. This is not only my observation but that of others who know him as well. In short, he is well-liked by his co-workers and friends.

When we heard that he was applying for a better-paying job, we were sad that we might lose a valuable colleague, but then we realize that it would be of benefit to others wherever he goes. We would not be that selfish to discourage him. I am sure he will remain our friend no matter where is goes. Whoever secures his services is very fortunate indeed.
