Informing customer of delay in executing order

Dear Mr. Richard,


Thank you for your order (No.1234) dated 01 Oct 2xxx. We have already sent some of the items by lorry to you. Enclosed herewith is our invoice (No.1980) for the items.


However we are short of Natural Brand Cooking Oil at the moment and the manufacturer said they would be able to supply us only by the end of November, a delay of 3 to 4 weeks. If you can wait, we shall send the cooking oil to you as soon as we get it from the supplier. If you require the oil urgently, we can recommend some alternative brands that we have in stock or you can try another source. We apologize for the inconvenience.
