Reply To Complaint Letter Regarding Non-Delivery

Dear Ms. Belinda,

Thank you for your letter of 18 July. I quite understand your annoyance at not yet having received the stationery ordered on 01 June.

Orders for printed stationery are at present taking from 3 to 4 weeks for delivery, and our representative have been instructed to make this clear to customers. Apparently you were not told that it would take so long, and I apologize for this oversight.

On receiving your letter we put your order in hand at once. The stationery will be sent from here tomorrow by DHL, and it should reach your within 24 hours of your receiving this letter.

It is very unfortunate that there should have been this misunderstanding but we hope you will forgive the delay which has been caused.
